10-Day January Detox Plan

When we think of detox we often have images of deprivation and juicing, this easy-to-follow, self-directed programme is different. Your body is continuously detoxing, processing the foods we eat, the toxins we breath in, the hormones we've used, the drugs and supplements we've taken, the alcohol & caffeine we've drunk, the make-up & cosmetics we've put on our skin, into a form able to be eliminated from the body. This programme shows you how you can support your liver so that it can perform its functions effectively. It's about giving your liver a break and nourishing your body with goodness. 

How do I know if my liver needs a boost?

Do you experience any of the following:

  • Feeling sluggish, tired and fatigued

  • White or yellow-coated tongue and/or bad breath

  • Gain weight especially around the abdomen

  • Food cravings and energy dips

How exactly will this programme help my liver? 

 

We will activate your body's own ability to return to optimum health by supporting liver function. It is important to pay attention to your own body's needs because everyone is unique. This will give you a deeper understanding of your body and how it works, and teach you the language of your own body's signals! 

 

The programme will help improve liver function by:

  • Providing instructions on what to eat

  • Increasing fibre & water intake

  • Exercising more

  • Drinking a daily detox drink 

  • Taking liver support supplements

A 10-day meal plan and detox drink recipe are designed to help incorporate these changes. You won’t have to wonder what to eat during this time. All you need to do is to set some time aside in your kitchen to prepare the recipes for your week ahead. 

The programme is focused on making big changes for 10 days that can have a huge positive impact in your life. If you are having difficulties incorporating all the changes, don't worry, even a few small changes will already make a difference.

What happens after I click buy now?


You pay the £30, subscribe to the Live Better Health website with a password that you'll use to access the plan going forward. You will be sent an instant, generic welcome email. I will then send you a more detailed, personal welcome email shortly after.




How do I access the plan after purchase?


You can access the plan by clicking the "Access the plan here" button above. Always click "log-in" on the top right. If you click "sign in" it'll create a new account. You will be taken to a spearate page where you'll find the plan including instructions, shopping list and recipes.




Do I need to start the programme on the 4th January?


No. You will always have access to the plan so you can start it whenever you are ready. If you would like group support via the Facebook page you can start with the other participants on the 4th January.




How will I feel after I completed the plan?


Everyone is different and all participants respond differently to a health plan. Some feedback I received from previous participants was that they felt more energetic, had less cravings and they enjoyed the new way of eating.




What if I have questions?


You can post questions on the Facebook group or WhatsApp me with questions.




Will there be encouragement along the way?


I will post daily comments on the plan on the Facebook group. Previous participants have posted comments and pictures of their food on the group.




Will I need to only drink juice or eat soups for 10 days?


No. This plan is about supporting the liver as much as we can with nutrients. The recipes are filling and healthy.

  • 10-day detailed meal plan

  • Detox drink recipe

  • Recommended detox supplements

  • Facebook group support (optional)

  • One-on-one coaching and support from Michelle

The programme is suitable for meat-eaters, vegans and vegetarians. 

During the 10-day programme, we will focus on improving liver function using a diet and lifestyle plan that is specifically designed for this purpose. If you often feel sluggish and drained then your liver is probably not working at its best. The liver has a myriad of important functions in the body: 

  • Bile production - helps eliminate waste and break down fats in the small intestine during digestion

  • Making certain proteins for blood plasma

  • Production of cholesterol and special proteins for fat transport through the body

  • Conversion of excess glucose into glycogen for storage (glycogen can later be converted back to glucose for energy) and to balance and make glucose when needed 

  • Processing of haemoglobin for iron storage

  • Conversion of toxic ammonia to urea - end product of protein metabolism, excreted in urine

  • Clearing the blood of drugs and other toxic substances

  • Regulating blood clotting

  • Helping the immune system by making immune factors and removing bacteria from the bloodstream

  • Clearance of bilirubin, also from red blood cells - accumulation of bilirubin makes skin and eyes yellow

What to expect at the end of the programme

At the end of the programme, you will have a greater understanding of your body and the foods that are beneficial for you. You should expect to feel energised & refreshed with regular bowel movements.

I really liked that the 10-Day Detox Program was about making healthy changes rather than calorie counting, fasting or deprivation. It felt doable from the beginning and having a shopping list and daily eating plan made it so easy to follow. I was introduced to new recipes that were simple and delicious!
